I don't know. Maybe it's just me. But for the first time I play the game and I REALLY enjoy it. It's epic, interesting, varied. Just great. And runs pretty smooth on my oldie.

I'm just having a great time. Thanks to the person who mentioned tasting ingredients to see the effect. I can't believe I didn't remember that but there was so much to see and learn. You would have died laughing during my tutorial; I was so clueless about what to do, what the symbols on the compass meant, etc. But it was great! My little Breton is using swords more than I had intended but she doesn't want to die so why not? Draugrs are tough! I think today will be spent talking to more people in Riverwood.

By the way, Jason Marsden (who voices Craig Boone in Fallout New Vegas) is singing the bard's songs as Sven in the Inn in Riverwood...sounds nothing like Boone. Ragnar The Red is hilarous. He does some other voices too but I haven't found him on others yet.

Play it on Expert from the start. Seriously. It'll be much more satisfying and intense!

And try to avoid exploring everywhere and reloading to explore conversation trees. I couldn't do that in earlier games but I've managed to get a hold of myself now
