So there I was.. going toe to toe with a mammoth, quite an even fight at the time

When I hear a dragons roar

The dragon lands right besides me and the mammoth and since i was injured I tried to run away.. the dragons breath hit myself and the mammoth but I managed to get away and heal up a bit

So turn round, weapons at the ready to witness the Mammoth turning on the Dragon... long story short the mammoth made short work of the dragon and then came back for me, he was weak by now and was easily beaten.

Kinda makes me sad that we are dragonborn and not mammothborn... the mammoths are bad ass

I was in Windhelm and a dragon appeared, after some fighting he landed at half health and all the horses at the stable including mine just stormed at the dragon and attacked it! The health drained really fast actually so i got the last hit(win!) I was really surprised that the horses attacked it too..
