Lock Picking Tips

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 9:50 am

I never played Fallout. So the lockpicking is new to me.
I get that you must first position the pick and then attempt to move the lock but are there any signs to know that its about to break?
Sometimes I can move the lock but the pick will break at the end of the rotation.

What's your method?
Thanks.

I always try to move first, when it's blocking, I try another position, obviously..

Then when it doesn't block anymore, I just go along with the.. thingie, there. And poof, done!

position the pick first then start moving the lock slowly as soon as you meet resistance and the pick starts shaking as if its going to break re-position it slightly and try again till you hit the right spot
