Hard time getting the game to work

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 8:50 pm

Hey everyone,

For some odd reason, I cannot get to play this game above 20 fps! I went with the default settings and even turned of AA and the other one (anistrophic filtering I think). But I cant even get above 20fps.

I also disabled crossfire in catalyst control center but that doesnt seem to help. I went into radeon pro to change the profile to oblivion, bioshock but that didn't help either. I even downloaded that dll. file to no avail.

Here are my specs: Radeon HD 5850-crossfire
8GB ram
Intel core i7 860 2.80ghz (not overclocked)

Can it be that my graphics card are not working properly? Any thing to help me with game?

I don't know if this will help, or not, but look in the PC section of the hardware and software issues subforum. They have a few posts in there linking to articles that show how to edit the .ini file to get better graphical results. I wish I could find the specific post that I read 'cause it helped me a lot, but I know it's in that subforum.

There is a separate forum for tech questions to be posted in. Now, you need to click on the "Report" button, say that you've screwed up, and ask for thr thread to be moved, then we'll see about answers.

is your windows updated? latest graphc drivers? Have you used a program like Ccleaner to keep your pc nice and clean? That usually does it for me. Best of luck, hope it works out for you :)
