If you wait in Skyrim, does it increase your health like in

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 6:33 am

I'm getting Skyrim today and I was just wondering how the waiting system worked. In Oblivion if you waited your health would go up completely. But in Fallout 3 that was not so, it did absolutely nothing to your health. So did Bethesda side with Fallout 3's way of waiting, or Oblivion's?

OH, and how do you level up? Do you have to sleep like in Oblivion, or do you just level up like in Fallout 3?

Yes the health does. (because simply standing about will also regenerate your HP, because that's what HP does, regenerates over time by itself)

No idea, since I haven't needed to "Wait". But it does regenerate with you just standing there, so Wait should work too. (Or you can just use your Heal spell.)

Just need to go to your menus. (The screen where it shows the cross with Skills up, Map down, etc. The "up" position will show Level Up instead of Skills.)

Yes, waiting will cause you to regain HP.

You'll get a message on the screen that you've leveled up. At that point, you can go into your menu and choose to level up or you can wait and do it whenever you want to. You don't have to sleep to level up.

Yes. With 1 hour wait your health goes to full. Even without the Wait your health slowly regenerates.

Edit:
I use waiting as I don't want my character to use any magic. It's also better to wait than to waste healing potions.
