Sup guys.
So I'm going to just cut to the chase...
I'm having issues determining in what type of character I wanna pursue.
I enjoy playing a rogue type character yet I plan on playing the game as if I were in real life. So no stealing, murder, anything immoral like that.. which really cuts out a good amount of the perks for the rogue "tree". I'd like to have a bow as my major weapon but from what I understand that lacks as a main weapon because it can't dish out enough damage to compete with other weapon types..
I was feeling a strictly offensive mage type character yet I've heard there's not much depth in mages so that really throws me off.
Maybe I'd play a warrior type character though the problem I'm having there is that there is a true lack of range which would cause a problem with dragon fights?
Basically I'm looking for someone to shed light on the mage class depth, if the bow can be used as a main weapon, and for someone to just push me in a direction of a class. I'm in a hard spot and can't decide -___-

Quit worrying about it and have fun. The game will still be there when you want to play it again with a different character. I typically go with warrior first, then mage, then thief as I see this as "easy/medium/hard" based on my personal playstyle.

I have spells in left hand, one hander in right hand and I open combat with a couple spells then I [censored] face with my weapon. Sometimes I'll go a little while with no spells so I can level up my one hander's more, sometimes I use both hands for magic.


As for pure mage, the potential is there. If you level up your health and magicka more everytime you level the potential to have two hands with magic is great. I could see having a raise undead in left and fire in right and [censored] facing the enemy with his own buddies lol.
