I'm a bit worried

It's almost 5 AM where I am, and I've ordered Skyrim with release-date delivery sometime in June. on Amazon it said SHIPPING SOON since couple days ago. My mail comes...say 2-3pm. Do you think it will get here in time? They haven't even confirmed delivery.

I'm really mad at Amazon. They dispatched yesterday. I paid £6 extra for expediated shipping and it looks like they have just thrown it in a first class sack with the rest of the stuff. No tracking details. I have googled Jeff Bezos's e-mail address to give him the tongue lashing of a lifetime if it doesn't arrive in second post. No good it arriving at my workplace sometime over the weekend when I won't be here.

Agreed. Although, Amazon does mention something about Expedited Shipping : Order within the next 1 hour and choose Expedited Shipping to receive game today!

So that could mean that in a couple hours it can still ship, and I receive it today. Thanks guys.

I have e-mailed amazon UK to ask them how they actually sent it. I want to give them a chance to explain themselves before I unleash my non-dragonborn wrath on Jeff.

Two posters here mentioned UK LOL. I'm from US. Not sure what's going on overseas, but I hope you guys get the game.

Let me know how things go, bump this thread and tell me here. I'll bump it as well with a confirmation of getting the game.

Oh if anyone else needs it the e-mail address I have is jeff@amazon.com. Who knows if it is right or if he even gives a goblin's bottom that we have been waiting five years for a package? It's worth a shot though.

The website didn't update my order until about 2 hours after FedEx picked up the package, so I think they're just way behind on updating.
But they are shipping overnight FedEx.

I'm in the exact same position as you. Mine apparently dispatched yesterday at around 1pm but still not had it.

Although, tbf, I think for me the issue is our post man and not Amazon. I ordered a book from Amazon on Tuesday, was meant to arrive on Thursday and arrived about an hour ago. I've just kinda resigned myself to the fact that I will be getting it tomorrow :(

Yep. I blame Royal Fail.
My Xbox copy was dispatched on Wednesday at lunchtime and STILL hasn`t turned up. 1st class is more like 2nd class nowadays. Useless gits.
Thank god i caved in and bought the steam version as well, since i am actually able to play it today.

I'm at an office building 5 minutes away from Westminster in the middle of London. They have no excuses for not getting it to me on time. I'm in the middle of the capital city, the weather is not especially bad, there are no riots this morning, no one is hearding sheep along the roads.

I'm going to find out from the post guy what time second post is supposed to arrive here and if no Skyrim by then Jeff will be hearing from me. I think Amazon should have used a trackable postal service given how much I paid for delivery and it looks like they didn't.

I can't play on PC :(

Its kind of annoying though, because its dispatched I can't cancel it and because I don't have it yet I can't return it. I don't want to buy a copy in the shop and then get home to find a perfectly serviceable version sat in my hallway. I'm just going to wait it out and play some Oblivion. But if its not here tomorrow I will join in with the angry e-mails.

The lesson here is don't buy CD's! Its the 21st century, its all about digital downloads. It came out, 20 minutes later I was playing it. No pre-orders.. no hassle.

I have actually received my game from FedEx on 11:11 am 11-12-11 :). The catch is, It's cause I had to place\ a NEW order. In June I accidentally chose FREE super saver shipping on Skyrim from another pre-order, so it says delivery date November 22. I placed a new order the other day with one day shipping (though Amazon customer service agent charged me ONLY 53 bucks and NOTHING for the shipping, he also gave me a 10$ promo, as well as the premium physical cloth map that comes with Skyrim) finally got it today, but went out to eat first. Now I'm back, so I'm going to play this badboy.

I will be setting up tent and living here for 2 weeks. You probably won't hear from me until then, unless I have questions :P.

Did you get your game btw???
