GOOD or WEIRD physics

By weird physics, i don't mean bugs, just weird...

i haven't bumped into either, bugs or weirdness, however i did notice the wind physics

i was shooting arrows at a bandit and for some reason my arrows went... limp. Just fired and it plopped down 3 feet in front of me.

i then noticed the swirl and the direction of the wind because i was fighting in the snow, turns out if you're facing the wind head on it stops your arrows

i also noticed this when i was fighting a couple of dragons, i don't know what caused it though, maybe the flapping of their wings?

how about you guys, bump into anything weird or cool? (physics wise)

I think this is because you didn't hold the button down for a spit second, and you need to

Try an experiment- just tap the button and see if that reliably makes the arrows 'limp'

Then hold the button down for a couple seconds and see if that make the arrows behave normally

I think the game is simulating the fact that you didn't draw the bowstring back all the way

yeah, i've been following skyrim since it was announced and archery was one of those things i've been looking forward too because you can "charge" the arrow.

so yeah, at first i assumed it was because i didn't hold down the arrow long enough, then i would be sure i would hold it down longer, and it would still go "limp"

so i went to the extreme and held down the arrow charge for a long period of time, long enough for the bandit to shoot 2 arrows into my face, and still the arrow fell off the bow

thats when i noticed the wind through the visual animations of the snow and the sound SWOOSHing in my headset that it was, and i may be wrong, the wind that countered my arrows.
