Hey guys,

Just a question, I noticed last time I went to level up my One-Handed skill was red at capped at 15 when it's actual level is 24.

I checked my active effects in the Magic menu and it doesn't list any negative effects or One-Handed subtractions. I went to the Alchemist in Whiterun, who keeps mentioning that I look really pale/have the Rattles so I figured I'd buy a cure disease potion to cure this invisible disease. This didn't cure it, and neither did praying at the Altar to Thalos. Still stuck at 15 One-Handed, 9 levels below it's actual level.

I've tried resting and unequipping everything I'm wearing, but nothing has worked. So, is there some menu I'm missing that will show me what the issue is or something I've overlooked that could be the cause, because right now it's looking like what would have been the skill I'd rank #1 in importance for my character is stuck at a ridiculously low level.

Im have the same exact problem as this and I haven't got the slightest clue why my one-handed is at 15, regardless of what it actually is its always makes it 15

I had the same problem and it just went away by itself. I think all you have to do is level one handed once and then it is gone.
