Just who does that horse think he is eh? ;)

Ok. So you can't tell me that in all there playtime the staff at bethesda never once got annoyed at the fact their horse thinks he is Rambo and will charge ahead
climbing tower stairs and castle walls to reach archers and other enemies with the full intent on sending them to their deaths!

LOL yes it is quite funny i suppose if you see it once, or read it as i have wrote. But lets face it....that should have been sorted out, wayyyy before release!!!

They should be passive and avoid fights at all cost tending to retreat a little until the enemy backs off.

It really is very annoying Bethesda :)

I agree. I already had one horse killed and went to buy another. That horse was killed 30 minutes later when he charged into a tower full of bandits. I just loaded my save and decided not to go near that tower again... but so far this game is great.

I steal horses so nothing is lost when they die. Do you get to call them Red Dead Redemption style if you buy them or what?

not played red dead, so couldn't say.

They do seem to aggro every mob as well which is annoying as they get in the way when your trying to fight too!

I hope Bethesda are reading this!!

We've had the "immortal horses" mod for TES IV, which tagged all player owned horses, as essential. They'd go unconscious if incapacitated. I'm sure we'll get a similar mod for Skyrim, as soon as the construction set is released.

A horse I didn't own actually saved my butt against a dragon so, I'd say that having horses acting like that is more like a love/hate thing, than anything else.

Anyways, I don't have a horse yet, as my priorities were different (house, training, buying resources etc.)

I'm starting to think my horse is dragonborn instead of me...My horse charges in yes..but oh...is hasn't died. It's taking all my damn kills! I play on HARD! I mean come on! I'd be afraid of this thing..if I bumped the setting down..it could probably eat dragons...I shouldn't have to cast a calming spell on my horse just so I can get some kills :banghead:

Other than this (and yes it is a love/hate although way more hate now) i haven't experienced any major bugs, only CTD once, and great performance from a single 560!

The game is truly great in every aspect! Roll on the mods for some more epic fun!

IF and when i finish the epic fun i'm having already ;)

I think the horse scales up with the enemies when you bump difficulty and you don't is the issue.
