This has happened to me and I've found a way around it.

press ~ to open console.
type in sixchange. This will change your character model to that of a female, but it will not change your character model presets. Type in sixchange again.

The result is a refreshed character model with your orginal presets.

Arrow stuck is a bug. Though this bug shouldn't happen with every arrow encounter, as arrows normally disappear after 10 or so seconds.
