A thought on food

I find it strange that homes I don't belong in, I can often eat the food that's laying about without consequence. However, when I rent a room in an inn I can't eat anything that's in my room.

Anyone else thinks that's funny? An odd oversight for such a great game.

There's odd ownership all over the place. Like, most of the stuff in a shop might be "steal", but some stuff you could just take. Same in alot of houses. Strange.

I saw on the loading screen it basically said that some people are just generally more lenient towards taking their food, and the more friendly you get with them the more stuff you can have/take without them caring.
Prob just shop keepers being selfish bastards
