Why does everyone want to complain?

I understand the bugs that mess up the game, but those can be fixed.

Like I understand they can't have locational damage and hitting people 30 times get's old but, when I play, the attacks feel right. blocking then bash with shield, or power attacks.

I hit them and they usually stagger, like someone would do irl. If your using just a sword, when they block, power attack. I mean how does the combat not awesome.

My only gripes are with stealth attacks, it should be a one hit kill with 5 sneak and 5 one arm skill.
the textures, everyone knows this but I don't pay attention to it.
And then also having to much stuff to do, I'll be on a quest then in the middle I'll do get distracted, I have like 50 need to be completed quests

But overall thanks to whoever made the game.

What about the fact you can't marry two of the races? That's a game flaw right there.

I don't think so. Do some religions not forbid marriages outside their own? I see it as something like that.

As for the same six marriages, does anyone know how you can tell if someone is gay/straight or not?

Everyone isn't complaining. You are seeing the vocal minority that post on the forums. And right now they are a significant chunk of the people ON the forums, because the people who have no problems and are enjoying the game are PLAYING the game. (I'm eating dinner while I read the forums - then it's back to Skyrim!)

...I'm cooking Dinner THEN back to Skyrim.

My only problem is the fact that it takes too long to get ANY where. That and Giants are always beating me up. I walk by and then BAM!

The guy in the shop next to Arcadia's in Whiterun sounds like he has the hots for me.

You know, there are two descriptive terms for video games that are used way too often: Perfect and [censored].

This game is not perfect, because perfect would insinuate that there isn't a single thing wrong with it, which just isn't true.

On the other hand, neither is the game [censored], because that would insinuate that it is utterly unplayable or not the slightest bit fun, which also isn't true.

This game lies somewhere in between the two, and though it lean more towards the perfect side of the scale, it isn't without its flaws.

I think, from reading the forum, the most "complaints" are from PC users and deal with the poor UI. There are a few complaints about video issues, but that will be fixed,I'm sure. Otherwise, it's a great game, and the visuals are out of this world. Easily the greatest I've seen since I started gaming back in 1982.

I love the game, but calling it perfect is truly hyperbole.

Nothing is perfect, but honestly, I don't care. The game is beautiful, just like I imagined and expected it to be. Unlike some people here, I actually had reasonable and realistic expectations. It tops Oblivion, and for me it's even going for my favourite TES, hands down.

Thank you Bethesda. (I'd still like some minor things like odd shadows and stuff figured out, but tbh, I don't mind it when I sink into the game)

Can I just say that Skyrim is great, but it's not 'perfect'.

The forums are actually not too bad, I have been here since before Morrowind was released and I can tell you the after- release negativity has been far less with Skyrim than it was for Morrowind and Oblivion! All the positive threads dissapear quickly because people who agree are too busy playing to comment :)

I wouldn't call it perfect, but as long as it is better than Oblivion I don't see a need to complain. lol

Every pc review I have read mentioned UI problems, the pc UI is poorly done. Plus almost every review describes many bugs, the game is just as buggy as Fallout 3 on release(Beth's last game). Many people expected these things to be a lot better as Beth said they were much better at fixing bugs and had put a lot of work into the UI. I never took this seriously anyway but others did and are rightfully voicing there concern and frustrations over these issues.

I'm cooking dinner in-game and pretending that I get full irl, no need leaving Skyrim! *Psychotic smile*
