I'm wondering if it's possible to change hairstyles and beards in Skyrim. I've got a character that has no beard, but medium length, center-parted hair, and I'm thinking I might want to do some other options later; starting beard growth for example. Is there an NPC in this game, that like in Fallout 3, you could go to, to alter your hair's appearance?

I haven't found one and Pete Hines said in some interview preview that it wouldn't be possible to change your apperance.

I think it's a bit illogical not to include an option to change beard, hair and warpaint styles, Just hope a mod comes to fix it

Would anyone happen to know the answer to this? I think all of us would like to have had this in the game, but I'm not sure if it's in or not.

It's always annoyed me when there's a lack of ability to change stuff such as hair as it seems like a complete no brainer and having to stick with the same look gets boring.

Yeah, I made my mage have the smallest body setting and he looks pretty skeletal in many types of clothing, I'd like it if he could put on a few pounds. The guy is capable of eating tons of goat shanks at one time, after all.

No you can't change your looks face wise after you've set them.

Thanks for the replies. That's disappointing, I guess I'm stuck with one hairstyle, and no beard on this character. I might consider making a new character if I want bearded guy, though.
