After killing a dragon raiding a village, I had forgotten to loot the dragon, but I got his soul, which seemed the more important thing at the time. I traveled about a mile away, and entered a cave to explore. After an hour or two, I emerge from the cave exit, and this dragon corpse falls out of the sky at my feet. It was the dragon I had neglected to loot (returning to the vacated original death site seemed to confirm it, I think it takes a while for dragon corpses to despawn.). I didn't notice anything horribly unusual about the loot - other than the fact that the loot container seemed to want to follow me around.

I've been randomly exploring the plains when a mammoth falls from 100 feet in the air and continues walking!

& yes, dragon skeletons should remain in place for the entire game. (little mementos, if you will)

I wish that happened to me. I have to actually travel back to the original spot where I killed it :/
