Dragon Tactics

So, what are you tactics/favorable conditions for fighting a Dragon? I like fighting them when there are other people(like guards) around, for some reason, if there are people besides you around, Dragons only attack the other people, while the Dragon's busy attacking them, I sit a good distance out of the way, shooting it with my bow and once it's health is low enough, I move in for a kill with my swords :toughninja:

Well I have killed 3 so far, I keep taunting them to come to the ground by running around and finding an open spot for them to land. Once they are there. I get to the sides or behind where they can't grab me with their mouth and hack away. The forth dragon was a punk, he literally killed a couple weak spiders and foxes, he saw me and chickened out and flew away..........WUSSY!?!?

My mage companion will hit it whilst it's in the air and then when it's landed I'll just run up to it and smash it whilst the mage hits from afar, I've found them relatively easy to kill though so far despite this stupidly simplistic tactic.

Had something like that happen to me before, a Dragon was circling for like three minutes, not attacking, despite me shouting flames and shooting arrows at it, then it flew off into the distance and disappeared I was all like :stare:

Don't fight them in the regions near Morthal, well between morthal and solitude. those serpents DEFY PHYSICS PERIOD. oh god the buggy flying, plus they have a path finding issue with landing in the swamps....god that was a nightmare, nothing but bombing runs and wtf flying...not to mention my guy had NO ranged attacks period.

Well I've only killed one so far at level 4, but it seems the lesser ward spell really helps mitigate damage from the fire breath. I just hack and slash when it's on the ground and use that spell to keep from catching on fire.
