Does anyone know how to pick up and move items around on the PC either with the Xbox controller that I have or with the mouse and keyboard? I am always knocking stuff around and I would like to decorate a house sooner or later with my cool items I get.

Look at the item and hold E (or whatever your activate button is). Press it again to let go.

Would be nice. I don't see anyway to do it other than picking stuff up and dropping it on the floor, which obviously doesn't make decorating the customized fun we might want.

So you can only do it with the keyboard and mouse and not a xbox controller?

wow man use your brain. With an xbox controller do the exact same thing. Hold down the interact button. once you grab it, release the button. Move item. Then hit button again to drop it.
