Companions. Well I was just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about companions. I haven't come across any yet so I was hoping to find one. Can somebody point me in the right direction and tell me where to find them

There's one in Riverwood...the boyfriend of the merchant's daughter. There's one for hire in a tavern...either Riverwood or Whiterun. There's a female companion located in the Whiterun tavern (you have to box her first...which is awesome!).

Do the main quest and after going to Whiterun to inform the ruler that dragons are returning you get Lydia as a companion who is awesome.
