Your spells look way cooler than mine. I wish I was more magic based but I'm pretty much pure combat. What level are you? What are your magic stats? where did you learn those spells? Sorry to bombard you with questions

I'm only level 7. lol that lady taught me that spell for $30 i think my magic destruction lvl is like at 31

It's an Illusion spell, not Destruction. Depending on your race (and without any fortify magicka potions or enchantments) it is possible that you would have to wait until level 4 to be admitted. Not a cakewalk, but yes easier than Oblivion.

I think the fact that you've come all the way to the remote Winterhold is enough for them, considering how rare mages are in Skyrim.
