One hitted by a Giant : V

Ok, so after i killed the first dragon in the main quest, i decided to do a bit of exploring. i just went sort of west and explored what the symbols on the compass were. when i walked into a giant/mammoth camp the giant walked over and one hitted me, sending me flying into the air higher than the tower you fight the dragon from, no joke.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. Happened to me, and I lol'd my ass. It's a good touch, imo. It makes the Giants truly something to be feared.

Yeah I still don't have a way to beat them without being cheap. I usually stand on rocks snipe them or use frost destruction so they can't run and I have can spam magic.

I had this happen to me a few minutes ago, actually. I laughed pretty hard. I flew SO far, haha.

Happened to me, so funny, I am now just able to defeat the Giants, so plotting my revenge!

What level are you? I am a level 11 mage, with 52 Destruction and they're still pretty hard.

Yea i was amazed how high the giant sent me in the air. But I like the challenge the giants bring, creates some epic 10min battles running around dodging their swings and coming up behind them giving them some attacks. And finally killing them after a long hard battle, im like " I should get a trophy for this " lol

I've managed to not hiss off all but one, it took him two swipes to take my character out, he would not have got that second chance if I'd been watching where I was going, ran into a ledge I could not jump on, dead!

Aye it's an experience the first time. But they're actually not that hard to kill in melee. Their swing time is quite long so it's easy to bash it off, and since they have a surprisingly low health pool they usually die after two or three power blows.

But then again I'm probably alot further into the game than most here, such is the life of the unemployed!
