Wich sort of playstyle is the easiest?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 9:55 am

Well, i have played a bit as a destruction/conjuration/alteration(all kinds of magic) mage using a onehanded weapon with magic in the other and i actually find it kinda hard...
What would you guys say is the easiest most OP playstyle?

for me currently, dual wielding magic :) put perks into the destruction perk tree and there is nothing that has proven any difficulty at the moment except for a necromancer backed up by a group of ten draugr :) that was a pretty close call. I'm level four, btw.

So far I have been playing as an Orc Warrior/Craftsman. I use all of the craft skills with two-handed weapons and heavy armor to destroy opponents. Works well and I have only died a few times.

My Nord has been dual wielding destruction spells or using a destruction spell+sword and it's going great so far.

Can you craft bows?

I believe so. I see bows in the various weapon types (Steel, Orcish), and I think I saw them in the list, but since I do not use bows I do not craft them. Try clicking on a blacksmith forge and see what is available

I have no idea what the diff. lvl was :P I didn't really take the time to check it. I was to busy running, waiting for magicka to come back, turn around burn the draugr to their second dead, run away again, and so on and on ... :P

I think the magic system is the best thing they changed of gameplay :P i never enjoyed a mage that much.

I'd say the easiest would probably be a pure mage, or an Orc One hand/Shield warrior.

Why not both? :hubbahubba:
because you only have so many perks you can get, and by getting 2 "gear up" skills fully perked, you limit the stuff your character can do

Well i'm a Nord Archer, currently level 11 and with my orcish bow i pretty much one shot most humanoids i come across. Just recently i entered a coastal cave and had to take out a guy above a group of sunken ships, he had roughly 10 men patrolling around him. I dispatched every one of them silently with one shot each before i attacked the main guy. I'm finding bows alot of fun, and very effective, especially vs Dragons.

I have to agree with Lycanblood - for me, the easiest, and the most fun is a stealth archer. But even though it may be an easy way to play, it's also the most involved playstyle. You just don't walk around sword swinging, Diablo style, A stealth archer/assassin use terrain, positioning, lighting, stalking the movement of their prey and patience. I enjoy that, and to me it's most satisfying when you wipe out a whole camp or dungeon and nothing even knew you were there.

And even when it comes to fighting dragons, it seems good archery skills is practically mandatory with the way they like to do kamikaze flying attacks or hovering in the sky roasting you alive. I would have been dead ten times over if I had to wait until they actually deigned to land and get within melee range.

I use a combination of heavy armour / one handed swords / Dual wield Destruction / Restoration. Finding that some parts can be hard some can be moderately easy.

Just the way I like it.
