Has anyone encountered the Whispmother in the Labrynthian? That was one hell of a fight... very hard. I exploited that 'spear gate' to defeat her!

No, what was the battle like?

She did seem upset that I killed her babies.

I exploited the headstones to block her projectiles and threw firebolts at her until she ceased to be as the parrot.

It was like a boss fight. She stood on higher ground and you stood in what looked like a field full of http://www.euratlas.com/Atlas/switzerland_plateau/grandson_menhir.jpg stones. She has LOTS of health, her Ice Shards do a hell lot of damage and she releases about 3-5 Shades that do alot of damage as well to help her out. I'm still level 11 and I had to to exploit her (I worked the exploit out after getting killed 4 times). Man that was epic... I will have to do this again with another character in the near future

I was in a foggy swamp kinda thing and seen a whispmother, I tried to talk to her but she didn't respond at all so I hit her, she sent two whisps after me and I got owned.

First time I encountered a Whispmother I didn't see her, I was busy killing the Wisps. Only when I was blasted across the floor at land speed setting records I realized, something is wrong here....Anyway after a reload, I managed to get up close and started slashing away. Then after finally taking her health down to a fraction I was again lit up like a Christmas tree and blasted across the floor. Not by the Whispmother I was fighting, no, from the other 2 that had spawned out of nowhere. After another reload, I decided to beat a hasty retreat.
