It seems a bit weird when you ride a horse and your follower has to try and run to keep up. Is there any way you can get them to ride another horse or even ride with you?

I tried stealing a horse, but my stupid companion refused to get on.

Yeah the only command I see for horses is "Attack" now why would I want to kill my poor horse?
