After reading about several potential quest/ major quest line bugs on the issues forums something has started bugging me (no pun intended).

If i come across a bug that stops a quest from continuing i dont mind leaving it at that point but if a patch fixes said bug is there a good chance i can simply continue?

I really dont like the idea of going through the game now and eventually having to restart the game just so any patch that fixes certain bugged quests works, sorry if the question is confusing trying to explain it as best as i can haha.
