Right, I laid out my Aretino heirloom in my bedroom, came back around 3 days later and it's missing...
What's funny is my troll skull is still there. I've checked my wife and lydia and neither of them have it, and another thing that is annoying me is I keep finding Brenuin the beggar in my Whiterun house, maybe he stole it? Anyone else have this happen to them?

Beggars are very talented in this game. I wouldn't underestimate them. I personally haven't gotten a house or a wife yet, may I ask how you acquire them?

House in whiterun from scribe in dragonsreach keep after you've killed the first dragon, and wife get an amulet of mara from temple of mara in riften, then ask a woman.

Did you put it up vertically or horizontally?
Because I had the heirloom positioned vertically on a shelf in my house and apparantly it keeps falling down or violently knocked off. One time it was on the floor way over on the other side of the room
