I've tried waiting for a few days around a vendor and their money doesn't seem to regenerate. I even tried leaving their immediate area then waiting and coming back, but still nothing.

I know I've left the city completely for awhile, done quests, them came back and they would have more money. But at the same time that seems a bit excessive, like there has to be a more efficient way. Anyone know what exactly you have to do to be able to sell more stuff to a vendor?

This can get especially annoying when I'm stealing a bunch of stuff from people but I can't sell much of it, cause I only have one fence to sell it to so far.

Walk directly outside their shop, wait for 24 hours, go back inside and sell stuff.

You're right, that does work for regular vendors.

I guess the thieve's gulid fence works different though, which is who I was trying it with. I tried waiting all the way outside the thieves guild in the open town, for 24-48 hours, but it doesn't seem to be working.

bummer. cause I have the same deal. on theives quest where you have to steal 500 worth of stuff, do you have to fence it to get it done? cause tonalia is broke!
