Nice accents, some of them

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 12:50 pm

Anyone else really taken with the accents, a germanic/nordic feeling to the game that kind of makes it feel historic. Then I met this NPC who I think originates from the mid west by the sounds of it. Bang went the immersion.

Would it really have been too much trouble for the voice actors to avoid anachronistic accents.

But what an absolutely fantastic, outstanding, brilliant game.

Yeah I like them too. Especially how some guards speak at Whiterun.

Yeah, I keep on expecting one of the guards to say, "Get to da Choppa," at some point...

The Nords keep making me thinking the Dudesons are in the game... Ha ha... Pretty authentic sounding Scandanavian accents... Kind of surprising VO quality for a Bethesda game.

Some accents are great, would've liked at least one npc who sounded like the Swedish chef off the muppets though lol!

There's that one guy in the Thieves Guild, the guy who
Spoiler
sells you the Dark Brotherhood stuff.
He has a brilliant voice.
