Benefits of gaining skill and sleeping

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 11:47 am

I know you need to have a certain skill in somethign to be able to place perks in it, but does it give any benefit besides that? Will I hit harder and more accurate with "h mastery at 40 compaired to 20, or is the only differeance that I can put more perks in it? If it does give an added benefit, what are they and how effective are they. (also for armor, lockpicking, alchemy etc).

Does benefit or sleeping add any benefit and if yes what?

Noone knows?

I would also like to know how I can heal myself from the deasies I've had since I started more or less. 25% less dmg with mele eweapons is not fun when you're melee.

And I heard someone got an companion named Sven that helps you fight. How do you get the hold of him?

Don't know about skills, but sleeping for long enough gives you a 'Well Rested' bonus, which does... something.

It would make sense if when you increase your one-handed skill you do more damage with one handed weapons, but i dont know if it does that, and if you sleep in a bed you gain ''Rested'' bonus, it means your skills level up 10% (i think it was 10 not sure) faster for 8 hours, and if you sleep in a bed you own you gain ''well rested'' and your skill level up even faster then

For your disease, go to the temple in Whiterun until you find shrines.

Or buy cure disease potion. When you are rested you level faster. High skill does have an effect besides perks

Yes, I think it does. Higher skill in, for instance, one handed, will make you deal more damage and lose less stamina for attack from those weapons.

Yes, being rested/well rested gives you experience gain bonuses.

Thought I continue on this thread, instead of makeing a new one. How do I get a house and how much do it cost?

Can you have more than one house? Is your house fully equipped with furniture or can you buy and place them yourself?

To buy a house it will usually be from someone in the Main Fort/Castle in the town.

The cost is different for each house but is about 5000-10000 gold

and that is just for the house, you then buy furnishings from the same guy, at about 250-1000 gold for each room.
