No one at Bethesda has ever owned a horse...because they can

Reading another post reminded me to post about this, because it's silly and I dislike it AND it did work right in Oblivion:

Horses can back up guys, they *do not* have to always go forward and trying to back up shouldn't force you to have to turn around.

At least they realize horses can indeed swim! Nothing like running into water only to drown in some other games with horses.

I was looking for a topic on this subject before making a new topic.

This annoys me so much I can't express it in words.

I really like the controls of the horses, unlike in games like Two Worlds which I could never get the hang of the horse controls, they always felt wonky, I like the way that horses are controlled in Skyrim.

But come on, I press the S key and my horse goes in a wide arc of a circle instead of simply backing up like horses do in real life. I guess horses are my pet peeves in games that offer them since I've been riding horses since I was about 5 years old.

I really wish that you all at Bethesda would fix this oversight. I can't exactly turn around while i'm on a path up a mountain , when I should simply be able to back the horse up to an area wide enough to turn around without stepping off the edge.
