Spriggans overpowered?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 10:19 pm

Ok I play at maximum difficulty and I took 1 hour to slain a Dragon that was fighting with a giand and I loved the battle , because I had to use a lot of tricks and get around them but with spriggans there is nothing I can do apart lowering the difficulty , its just impossible to beat them straight fowarding as they start with the damn ray that svcks all your energy unless you have a ton of cure spells and potions they are near impossible to beat ... I think are way overpowered compared to Dragons and Giants ...

Playing at Adept Difficulty they are hard but much easier than dragons or Giants. The problem is all Difficulty increases is enemy health or lowers the damage you do, and since Spriggans have the ability to heal almost all their life at least once when close to death, you get two extremely long health bars for the price of one.

The game was obviously only balanced for Adept.

Yeah they are tough, if you can try to trap them or get them stuck while pepper them with arrows. I wouldnt want to go near them in melee.

If you use a war axe it affects them more than a sword... because its an axe you know. I thought they were impossible too until i used my axe of burning. it basically made them look stupid. also fire spells are good too. i critically damaged one with a fireball scroll.

Adept is the normal difficulty, the one in the middle, 3 of 5.

Also if you think they are to hard then go level up and come back to fight them later. I am playing on master difficulty and I have this problem sometimes where I can't kill something. So I realize I am not strong enough and I run away, then fight it later at a higher level.
