Noob needing some clarification.

1. Where and how do I learn new SPELLS? There are hardly any destro spells to buy, and it's bloody irritating.
2. Is there a lock opening spell? I'm assuming not or i'd have found it for sale by now (a low end version) and if a Bethesda guy reads this - PLEASE PLEASE put them in. It's magic for Alteration for a reason!
3. Is anyone else a little upset at how the new "grab" system is utterly [censored] and a pain to use? And how items randomly jumpy around after you re-enter the area/load a save? And that you STILL CANT see your character eat/drink in a bar, or play a lute? How were these things missed - it breaks my heart!

Aside from that little rant, I'd love some answers for the first two questions! I'm really enjoying Skyrim so far, but a part of me feels like the game is a little bit more restrictive than I was perhaps expecting... Not quite as free form or polished as you might hope (i.e you cant see how much magicka a spell will cost when browsing it, which is mad! =)

1. In dragons reach to the right of his throne there is that Mage who studies dragons, He sells loads of spells for around 200 gold for the useful less damaging ones.

1. You learn spells from spell tomes, I've found a few for sale in Riverwood and looted a couple from chests. You can buy a lot of them at the Mage's college in Winterhold apparently, but I haven't been there yet.

2. I'm not sure, I haven't seen any yet. If they are in then you could probably buy them at the Mage's college.

I believe that the items randomly jumping around when you enter an are is the havok physics loading up all the objects... I know it does it too in fallout and oblivion sometimes.

Ahh okay, i'm sorry I didnt write very well - I know how to learn spells, I mean how do I get the game to open up NEW spells? Of higher level? Is it MY overall level or the specific levels of the magic schools I know - that dedicate what I tomes I can buy at any one time? Or something completely different, i.e: geographical location.

Buy tomes. There is no unlocking spell in Skyrim. That is a question of opinion, do you think the game as a whole is good regardless of some glitches here and there?

Stick with lock picking. Once you get the knack of it it's fantastic fun. Be slow with your twist and stop as quickly as you can if the pick jiggles. Super fun.....eventually

Not sure about spells yet though. Can't say I've really been looking for them so far

Hehe, I do enjoy lockpicking, if i'm honest - but the magical option really really really should be there. I dont care about fairness or balance, it's a single player game, and as an archmage I should be able to manipulate locks. Yes I am enjoying it alot, despite some bugs and glitches. However in all honestly I really thought this would be the installment where whatever we felt like doing (drinking in the tavern) would be possible, through ridiculous amounts of GAMEPLAY detail, aswell as the gorgeous game world that they've created. Bookshelves with leaning books piss me off ALOT - who let that happen?!
