There is one HUGE problem with this game

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 12:38 pm

I can't stop playing it...

I've literally done nothing all weekend but play Skyrim and having a blast. Argh.

Might find myself sneaking around work all day tomorrow.

Sadly I have to stop playing it, otherwise I get sick. Motion sickness or a very mild form of epilepsy as some say. Sometimes I can play for hours, other times, only 20 minutes.

Yeah I need to go to work tomorrow. If it didn't take me over 2 years to get a job, I would consider "calling in sick" cough cough. lol

Haha. I know. I keep looking up and finding the day gone. I can enter a dungeon and as I leave it find 2-3 hours or more has passed. It's like a drug . . .

Hah, same here. I haven't gotten this much into a game for years - I honestly don't remember the last game I played where I looked up and found that nearly three hours had gone by. Though that does explain why I was hungry.

Agreed. I played until 4:00 a.m. this morning and now I'm getting ready to start it up again. This game is electronic crack.

I got my copy on Thursday, re-started on Friday evening, and my recent save was 26 hours. Yikes.

I've even managed to squeeze in a bit of housework!

The 11th was a holiday.
I don't work on weekends.
Tomorrow is a day off because...
...Tuesday is another holiday.

Haven't enjoyed a game this much for a while, it's like playing Morrowind mixed with Thief! Nothing has come this close on console for a while, Deus Ex nearly but its boss fights screwed me up.

Having so much fun, even despite sometimes getting stuck in bits of wall/rock and having to reload hehe.

Well, I've played it for two days (would be 3, but the installation took 6 hours thanks to steam :swear: ) and I'm 18 hours in. That's got to mean something.

Yeah, I'm a little startled at my play time myself. I played for a couple of hours after 12 AM on the 11th, then went to sleep. Now, only 2 days later I have 30+ hours showing on time played.

Phew, glad someone else has spent nearly all their waking hours this weekend!

I've done nothing but slept, eaten and played skyrim since it came out.. I know it's addicting.. I know I should get back into some sort of socializing.. But I just don't feel like doing anything but playing Skyrim :D

I played most of yesterday, but today I'm studying for a test I have tomorrow... I'll get a little time in later this afternoon, though.

Get your priorities straight man. Who cares about studying.
