The all knowing, all SEEING guards.

Has anyone else noticed the same exact town/city guard AI from Oblivion? All this talk of how "improved" the AI system is, yet in many instances it feels exactly the same. If you choose to kill anyone not within the confines of a structure, the guards automatically know you did by default (regardless if you were seen or not). This really kills the role play ideals of an assassin/thief like myself.

Edit: to clarify, I am referring to non-bow stealth kills.

They are still having bugs with crime reporting chickens and the like, so it may not be the guard AI, but a bugged reporting system that sends them running.

However, I have killed someone in their house, in their sleep with a half dozen NPCs in the next room and not gotten a bounty or been reported. I used poison on them (with the perk) if you're curious. So it is possible to murder anonymously as the game stands right now.

I don't know why Bethesda wont fix this? How hard could it be to write a code that tells when you are inside a house the bounty wont raise automaticly if you won't do one-kill hit. on the other end it is the same... I was in a room where many people was having a dinner... I sneaked behind one awesome looking guard and one-hit killed him with my mace.

Others were like "WOAH, what happened?!" then they continued eating while one lied there dead in a chair! When i came out from the shadows they were like "oh, it's you, good to see you!" lol...
