How short is it compared to Oblivion? Lets say Oblivion is a 10, what number is Skyrim?

How enjoyable was it? 1 - 10

10/10. It was great, solid story telling, finding and unlocking new shouts are cool, and the mid - to end is amazing.

I loved it. I didn't play Oblivion, but Skyrim over all when I finished was a 9.5 out of 10.
I am not just roleplaying hence I finished the main story, wandering around, observing nature and going to buy a house soon.
I am joining a guild as well to keep things interesting and do more side quests.

I loved it. I wasn't a huge fan of oblivion but I liked it. I actually dropped my controller today and broke the r1 button and freaked out so I headed to gamestop to pick up a new one to keep playing skyrim =P

How does it rank up compared to Daggerfall/Morrowind's main story? Does it quickly escalate or does it progress at a more relaxed pace with breaks in the tension? Is the ending cheesy? How often do you have to carry out fetch quests?
