There's no sun in the sky...

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 1:54 am

I can't for the life of me find it. where are those beautiful sun sets we used to see in Oblivion? It's 2011.. where are the sunshafts and sweet lighting like in the witcher 2? All I see in the sky is a slightly bright area where I THINK the sun is.. but even when its setting you don't see jack.

This is on PC, I dunno about consoles. WTB a mod to fix this.. lol

They're using fluorescent lights to save energy. Skyrim has gone green.

Large Elephants teamed up with Yellow Ostriches to turn the sun invisible. Its still there and gives off light but you can't see it. Read up on your lore! :nono:

Rofl that explains the lighting feel of the game.

I've seen mods on skyrimnexus that replace the textures for the moons. So if you really want a sun in the sky you could use that and place your own sun texture in there. It'll surely be weird but you'll get your sun :)
