Do I need to give her arrows too? I'm fairly sure she had none with her Orcish bow.

I gave her a bow to shoot things that are far away, like dragons, so she would pose some use to me in open areas.

she died and refused to resurrect after one death from bandits for me. seriously ONE death and that was it

If its using the same system as the FO3 companions they will have free ammo for their default weapons but if you provide them with better bows you'll need to provide the arrows too.

I took away her Falmer bow so she would use her "Default" bow.
