Everybody thinks I'm sick? : V

As I've been running through the College of Winterhold and walking through various villages and cities, a lot of NPCs look at me and say "Are you sick? I hope it's not contagious." or "Are you feeling okay? You look ill."

I'm confused. What's going on?

Progress: Completed main quest and Stormcloak questline, only a few quest into College of Winterhold.

You probably got poisoned, go drink a potion or go to a shrine.

Check your magical effects in the magic menu. You may have caught something.

Same here at first it was becuz i was a vampire but i cured it and they still think i am..

You probably 'are' sick. I'd go into the magic tab and check if there are any strange current effects on the character. If there is one there drink a cure disease potion or visit an altar of the nine in any of the temples or shrines.

Try visiting a Temple and get blessed by the Sacred Stone there to remove disease. Sorry I'm not used to the names yet.

Beyond what the others mentioned, it appears the Alchemist in Whiterun says you appear sick regardless of whether or not you actually have a disease. It seems to be just part of her dialogue.

As i said before, try to rest/sleep more often and see what they say after that!

the priestest of kynareth in whiterun says i look pale. i assume it's because i'm a wolfy or something. no point in resting as were wolfs don't get resting bonuses.

One thing I thought was cool was I was sick and traveling on the road from Riften to Eastmarch, and I saw a band of traveling priests of Stendarr who cured me.

what is rockjoint?

From Elder Scrolls Wiki:

Rockjoint is an acute common disease affecting a victim's manual dexterity. Symptoms include painful swelling and immobility of all joints.
Weapons efficiency decreases by 25%

Most commonly contracted from Wolves.. and God knows there are a lot of 'em in Skyrim.
