So, I went on one of the Thieves Guild quests and had to go to this bar in Whiterun. The guy they had me talk to sounded almost exactly like Garrett from the Thief series (one of my favorite games). Steven Russell is Garret's voice and he also did voices for Fallout 3 (strangely I never picked up on it). Is it Steven Russell? It has to be!

I loved Thief: Deadly Shadows though I never played the earlier installments. I look forward to meeting that character when I get around to joining the Thieves Guild.

I loved all the Thief games. Deadly Shadows was pretty good. If you go to Bannered Mane in Whiterun towards the back on the left you can talk to Mallus Maccius and see if it's Garrett's voice. I swear it's him. I am not sure if it's only there when you're on the Thieves quest, but you can give it a try.

Yepp, Stephen Russell does several voices in this game. One of the Thieves in the Ratway Cistern, Cynric I think his name is sounds almost exactly like Garrett.
