Just have a quick questioned about Stealth Characters Im playing a Thief Character and having a very hard time picking a weapon I thought daggers would be a perfect match for my Character (dual wield) But it seems not to be doing enough damage at all I get beat up very quick I have been putting my perks in sneak all the way to 15 times backstab but still no help do you guys have the same problem as me ??? I also use archery as my main range and that works well. Do you guys have any tips at all any ?? it would help?? I don't think daggers are gimp or anything just think I can be fighting wrong or something

Yea same for me I just figure maybe i'm fighting wrong or something I can take out regular bad guys with a couple hits but once I get to the boss if there is more then 2 guys im a goner

Daggers aren't great for backstab until you get the perk for them, before that they have the same multiplier as other melee weapons and you want to use the most front loaded melee weapon you can.

Until you get the enough stealth skill and perks or unless you set yourself up using illusion assistant melee backstabs are very difficult. Without illusions melee backstabs pick up around 60 at this point you'll also have the perk for super dagger backstab damage.

hmm Illusion and alteration I think I might learn from you TY im lvl 14 do you think im to late in the game to learn those to magic schools to benefit from them

im doing well with a one hander and shield (im nord). I also use archery as my ranged.
