Hey forum, I plan on starting a real assassin class soon, but is it possible to be a true assassin? I am a level 18 warrior right now and all the dungeons i go in seem to have enemies charging straight at you. How are you guys going about these types of things? It seems necessary to always carry a good sword with you to fight up close. Also, I'm taking some heavy damage with my warrior who uses steel heavy armor. How would I survive a head on battle with light armor?

Whenever I go through dungeons I always see 1-3 npcs just standing there

Absolutely, I'm full on assassin. Some things will really help, get into the thieves guild, the gear will be invaluable, sneak EVERYWHERE, increase up that skill and you'll be crazy hard to spot. I regularly truck through castles slitting throats rather thanf ighting. There's a shout called Throw Voice which actually causes enemies to investigate wehre you target it, it is fantastic! Between Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood gear, and perks I have 30x multiplier on my dagger sneak attack. Some dungeons will take a LOT of patience, though, You have to watch sentries, watch how they move, and more importantly how other sentries who may see you move. All in all though it's SO cool to see your guy rise up behind somebody and slit their throat.
