Why would you dual wield them over swords or any other combo for that matter? Do they have speed ratings? Do weapons even have types?/' Pierce, crush, etc.?

I believe they're faster than swords, and their stealth-kills are completely silent.

30X damage multipliers help their case too.

Only daggers can get the x15 multiplier in melee combat from sneak attacks.
