Have any of you been playing and thought to yourself, "Self, there are just too many dragons." I'm purely talking about the random dragon battles, also. I have three dragon skeletons scattered in the immediate area of the College of Winterhold because it seems like half the time that I fast travel there or come out of the main chambers there's a dragon flying around it. I've also killed one in the main town area of Winterhold. Then there are probably four or five other dragons that I've killed around small settlements and mammoths/giants. I've also killed one dragon near one of the ancient words and two at the ancient burial sites (Or at least that's what I think they are. The plots where you see Alduin flying around it and when you approach he raises it from the dead and flies off. I didn't find any ancient words at these). AND THEN there have been a few times where I've scanned the horizen and have seen at least two dragons flying around. I've gotten to the point where I think to myself, "ANOTHER dragon battle?" or where I see a dragon circling in the distance and purposely avoid it. Has anyone else experienced this or are the dragons in my playthrough just really, really fertile?
I have put in about 16-20 hours, and fought one dragon in the main storyline ( I am doing mostly side quests) and 3 random dragons. Two of which were after fast traveling.
So That is about one dragon every 4 hours. That is not too bad. Dont forget there are 24 shouts in the game and also I believe each shout has three sybals. So that is over 60 dragons we need to fight to unlock all of them
