what house to buy?

Hi I am playing at hard difficulty and It was hard to collect my first 5 k money , now should I save them for a better house or buy that kind of shack in Whiterun?

If you are looking for a nice house then the manor in Solitude is awesome but it costs 25K, now if you just need a house for inventory then the house in Whiterun should do fine.

I bought the house in whiterun. Its a nice house and I like whiterun. But I should mention that I have only been to one other major city (Mokhar or something) thus far so I dont know if it was a good buy or not :)
