So far im loving the game, however I do feel ( so far ) that the monster balance is a bit weird. Does it get better after?

Atm im lvl 7 and for example I have no problem slaying some monsters with 1 hits and they barely scratch me, then there are frost trolls who are incredibly tough and I barely make any dmg and they almost 1 hit me, giants who we all know how strong they are etc.. but really no monsters in between, either they are no challenge like wolves, draughrs or they are extremely hard verging on impossible.

So my question is does it get more balanced later? like more variety or still some monsters are a joke and others are crazy tough?
