I married Ysolda, and bought us a house in whiterun, but she won't go adventuring with me? I thought you could go adventuring with your wife?!

I think that works only with a combat follower. For example Aela the Huntress or Lydia.

Honestly I'm not marrying Lydia because I do have her following me around everywhere. I just wouldn't want to have her get her. I prefer a spouse with some sort of job so she can do trading and such with me.
