Nothing. But there's no bonus either. There's very few pieces of equipment with spellcaster enchants on heavy. Whereas enchanted robes are all over.

From what I understand the way armor classes are balanced is by the enchantments you are able to put on them. Heavy Armor will typically only have melee weapon oriented enchantments on them. Light armor will have things like Magicka regeneration enchantments.

Ok, so if i went nord with 2handed weapon and lightning spells with heavy armor it sounds like that would be ok. If i went in knowing my bread and butter will be the 2hander.

I had an idea with enchanting and heavy armor. I was considering an option of going full heavy armor suit with each piece enchanted with magika properties - then if you wanna add icing to the cake go far enough into heavy armor to allow it to weigh nothing.

One of those removals that should make this game feel like "TES fo Dummies", but for some reason i don't get such feeling playing it
