It's not perfect, the item menu is crap and the journal is the worst I have ever seen in any game. There is no locational damage and no weapn/armour degredation (which would have made the smithing make more sense and given it more perk opportunities.

Aside from those things Skyrim is pretty damn good I'd say 92%

Ehm... I found that I like Oblivion way better. Skyrim is definitely NOT perfect. In fact, it feels like it's still in Beta testing.

Quite impossible - Morrowind had a far, far worse journal. There's at least some rudimentary attempt at organization in Skyrim, even if the organization of Misc quests leaves a lot to be desired.

I love that I have a whole new world to play in. I don't care if there's a glitch here or there. I Don't Care. I love it anyway.

And we don't need another Thank You Bethesda thread. It's all been said. Send them a personal email if you feel moved.

The Misc quests are ridiculous in they way they are listed. I have one quest which simply says talk to Aventus Areteno, who the hell is that, where the hell did I get the quest. After playing the game and doing other things you quite literally forget who the people are, where they are, what they wanted. In Oblivion it listed each stage in your journal so you could keep track cleary of what quests you had and what you had done thus far within them. Here it tells you next to nothing. The journal is terrible, hopefully a mod will sort that part of the menu system out

I play a mage and I am apalled by the amount of content removed from the game in that aspect. Oblivion had two or three times the amount of magic to offer. Compare the Guild and the College for example. Mysticism has been scrapped. Spellmaking scrapped. Enchanting redone to make you dependant on lucky finds. Every school has been massively shrunk. Spells are single effect only. Fun-to-use-but-pointless spells scrapped (waterwalking for example).

Skyrim is a disgrace in comparison to Oblivion in terms of magic. Even if it does look fancier.

I've probably spent more time in TES games than any other game franchise, and I think they've finally come close to perfection ("perfection' would require random dungeons a la Daggerfall).

Morrowind and Oblivion were great, but the level scaling in those games was anti-immersive and required metagaming in order to have fun. Finally, with Skyrim, I can just do what I feel like doing and not worry that I'm completely gimping my character. And i I get to be OP I can up the difficulty.

Very well done, Bethesda.
