Anyway to recreate character after the opening intro scenes/dungeon???

Play the intro up to the point where you make your characters ... do a quick save. Alt-tab and save the file. Now whenever you want to start a new character copy that file over and restore from the quick save.

The game saves automatically -not just an autosave, a full save- just as you get off the cart, but before the Imperial Soldiers start calling names. If you have overwritten that save then play the opening scene again and don't overwrite for future restarts. Unfortunately you must play the tutorial dungeon again.

For me it made a save by itself right before I made my character.

Make a save file right before the character creation and don't overwrite it. If you want to start a new one then load that file.
