How do I make it so I see my character from the back while playing?

You mean third person? If you're on console, click the right stick or R3. Not sure on pc.

Oh, check the manual, or go to your system settings, and look around for controls.

On PC, the default button is 'F'.

At least, it was for me.

Either F or scroll the mouse wheel backwards

Hmm, strange F is labeled as Toggle POV for me too, but it doesn't do anything.. oO
Anyone knows if you have to do the first break out or anything for it to work?

Try changing the control to something else. And if by "first break" you mean the starting area and quest and stuff, then probably, yes.

Check your control mapping in your settings. Should tell you in there.

It is F on the PC, but it doesn't let you do it right away. Basically until you're out of the intro scene. Then it works. Drove me crazy.

I had to get someone else to get me out of the intro scene. First person makes me incredibly nauseous. I don't know why it wasn't there from the start of the game...
