Dunno, I surely would like to know this, too! The same goes with diseases. Does the game actually tell you if you contact a disease? I sometimes drink a Cure Disease Potion just in case...

You have to go into the magic screen and scroll down to active effects, then scroll through the active effects and poisons/diseases are in red. Completely illogical and a hassle, but nevertheless...

Edit: Bounties I have no idea.

When you look under your active effects page it will tell you about any diseases that are hurting you. Try looking under your general stats for current bounties?...
